Left or Right?

Your brain is separated into 2 halves, the right and the left. The concept of right brain and left brain thinking developed from the research in the late 1960s of an American psychobiologist Roger W Sperry. The left side of your brain controls the rights side of your body and the right controls the left side of your body. Typically many people are stronger with one side of the brain than the other. Each side of your brain controls different things.
Left: (Verbal)                                                Right: (Visual)
Logical                                                          Creative
Mathematical                                                 Artistic
Works in liner sequences                               Sees the big picture
Rational                                                         Intuitive
Analytical                                                      Random
Objective                                                      Takes risks

By looking at the list of each many can tell what they are or what they think others might be. There are ways to find out exactly which side of your brain is more dominate. The following website will take you to a test to help you figure it out. http://www.wherecreativitygoestoschool.com/vancouver/left_right/rb_test.htm

The right and left brain concept is ways that you learn and interpret things. If your left handed does not mean the your right brain is dominate. You use both hands to do things so the brain doesn't know dominance.

If your right or left brained doesn't mean your better than the other it's just the way you learn. When both sides of your brain work together your get a better learning experience.
